The CarMax Foundation relaunched their Care Card program for GivingTuesday

The CarMax Foundation, part of CarMax, planned to move to the Benevity platform just before its annual Care Cards program on GivingTuesday. The team needed to maintain its roughly 70% participation rate and keep the transition to the new corporate purpose platform smooth.

Using Benevity’s enterprise platform for donate, volunteering, and grants management, The CarMax Foundation relaunched its seeding program, kept its Volunteer Team Builder running, and added features that made it easier for associates to find causes and nonprofits to support. Since launching with Benevity in fiscal year 2023, more than 23,000 associates redeemed their $50 GivingTuesday seeding, generating more than $1.1M in donations to over 7,000 nonprofits, along with 192,000 volunteer hours and more than $1.9M in employee donations overall.
