A Benevity Case Study
PagerDuty wanted its Giving Season campaign to be inclusive and highly impactful, while encouraging more employees to take part in its last big Goodness push of the year. To support that goal, PagerDuty worked with Benevity and used donation seeding through GivingTuesday.
Benevity helped PagerDuty seed each employee with a $50 donation credit and give them 14 days to choose a nonprofit. The campaign also included a Giving Guide and internal sharing incentives. In the 14 days after GivingTuesday 2022, 65% of employees donated their credit, 40% did so in the first two days, $58,262 USD was donated to 600+ unique nonprofits, and 400 employees viewed the guide. PagerDuty later announced a year-round 1:1 employee match program after an 85% year-over-year participation rate, and by year-end 95% of Dutonians had either donated or volunteered.
