A Benevity Case Study

Benevity Helped Experian Ditch Spreadsheets & Reduce Admin Time.

Experian, through its Heart of Experian volunteer-focused program, was struggling with manual processes—tracking volunteer hours in spreadsheets and cutting checks by hand—which created heavy administrative work, bounced payments to nonprofits, and limited visibility into who was participating. To fix this, Experian partnered with Benevity and began using Benevity’s Spark platform and reporting tools to track volunteer hours, reward participation, and manage giving.

Benevity implemented automated disbursements, participation reporting and the Spark engagement tools, which eliminated manual check‑writing, reduced admin time and bounced payments, and made it easy to identify and engage new volunteers. As a result, Experian saw a “huge increase in participation,” stronger nonprofit relationships and more efficient program management thanks to Benevity.
