ACCA, the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants, faced a challenge with high levels of long-term staff absence due to stress, anxiety, and depression. To address this, they partnered with the vendor Benefex to enhance their employee wellbeing strategy using the Benefex OneHub platform to host their 'My ACCA Benefits' scheme and wellbeing portal.

Benefex implemented a multifaceted solution that included expanding financial wellbeing tools, launching comprehensive communications campaigns, and facilitating numerous wellbeing events. This strategy led to significant results: EAP usage increased to 4.4%, well above the industry benchmark, and engagement survey scores for wellbeing improved by 2%. Additionally, the take-up of protection benefits saw substantial increases, including a 42.6% rise in income protection, and employees reported taking less sickness time.
