Perrigo Prevents Heat Related Incidents with Concern Reporting and Integrated Wearable Solutions

Perrigo, a global provider of consumer self-care products, needed a way to protect workers in high-temperature environments while they wore heavy PPE. The company worked with Benchmark Gensuite to address the risk of heat-related incidents across its facilities.

Perrigo implemented SlateSafety’s integrated wearable solution with Benchmark Gensuite’s Concern Reporting and Near Miss reporting processes. Since rolling out the system at two sites, Perrigo says it has prevented about three heat-related incidents per week, created more than 191 concern reports, and recorded 140,000 safe hours worked without a heat-related lost workday case over the past three years.
