Lessons Learned from The Pandemic and a Look at EHS Moving Forward

Cytiva, a global pharmaceutical manufacturer, faced pandemic-driven EHS challenges including ensuring safe site access, enforcing COVID-19 training, managing contact and exposure events, and maintaining inspections and audits under remote/hybrid working conditions. To address these needs they worked with Benchmark Gensuite, using its Benchmark ESG platform and related incident-management and training modules.

Benchmark Gensuite implemented the Benchmark ESG COVID-19 response training and access controls (workers were not admitted to specific sites until training was completed) and deployed remote collaboration tools like U Connect to enable inspections, audits and investigations with remote experts. The solution kept sites operational, improved compliance with training and site-permission processes, strengthened illness case management and raised the visibility and influence of EHS across the business.
