GE Vernova, a global leader in energy technology, needed a scalable way to monitor personal protective equipment usage across its global operations. The company wanted to reduce risk, improve workplace safety, and capture safety incidents more consistently in real time.

GE Vernova partnered with Benchmark Gensuite and Avathon to integrate computer vision with Benchmark Gensuite’s digital platform. On-site cameras automatically detected safety triggers such as forklift speeding and improper PPE usage and logged them into concern reporting and incident management tools; in the first week, 50 PPE concerns were raised, helping the company address issues faster and improve safety awareness.
