Med Care™ — a large aerospace & defense communications organization with 25,000+ employees — faced fragmented on-site medical and EHS functions, duplicated processes, lack of centralized metrics, and difficulty reducing workers’ compensation costs as it scaled. To standardize and simplify workflows across medical, EHS and risk management, the company engaged vendor Benchmark Gensuite and its Med Care™ occupational health & safety management solution.

Benchmark Gensuite implemented the Med Care™ integrated system to align EHS and medical processes across 169 sites, tie EMR/medical claims into injury reporting, and introduce new metrics (incident severity, employee touch time) for trend analysis and forecasting. The deployment scaled to 100+ primary/secondary users and impacted thousands of employees, eliminated IT costs, increased reporting and compliance efficiencies, and provided visibility to roughly 100 clinic visits per site per month to better mitigate health and safety concerns.
