Bench enabled share trading fintech Stake to more than double their app downloads by connecting digital out of home with the right audiences at the right time

Stake partnered with Bench Media to support the growth of its share trading app and increase brand awareness in Australia. The challenge was to find efficient ways to reach high-potential users and drive more app downloads and activations as Stake pursued ambitious growth plans.

Bench Media ran a programmatic digital out-of-home campaign across NSW and CBD locations in January 2021, using lookalike audiences and sophisticated data to target screens where high-propensity customers were most likely to be present. The campaign delivered a 219% uplift in app installs, a 54% gain in app install-to-activation, more than 1.1 million impressions, and over 38,000 anonymous device IDs for cross-channel retargeting.
