Jackson National Life Insurance Company (JNL), a $50 billion financial services firm with a $12–15 million annual purchasing budget and 30–40 thousand purchase orders per year, faced a major procurement challenge: its legacy Lawson purchasing module was difficult to use and soon unsupported.
