Eastern Idaho Technical College (EITC) is a state-funded two-year technical college serving nine counties with 850 full-time students and workforce training for thousands annually. Sandi Dingman, the college’s sole purchasing agent, manages a roughly $3M spend across several hundred vendors and produces about 1,000 purchase orders a year. EITC had relied on a manual paper system and a cumbersome in-house solution that failed to gain faculty buy-in, creating an urgent need for a simpler, more user-friendly purchasing platform.
