Shenandoah University - Customer Case Study

Shenandoah University, a private university in Winchester, Virginia, decided to transition from Lenovo to Apple and needed to issue every incoming freshman a MacBook. Without significant in-house Apple expertise, the IT team faced the challenge of imaging 800 devices over the summer, supporting a large-scale student deployment, and setting up an authorized repair center for Apple devices.

Bell Techlogix provided IT deployment and depot services to handle imaging and asset tagging at its depot facility, then sent technicians onsite during the first week of rollout to support the deployment and troubleshoot issues. Bell Techlogix also created a customized repair depot for in-warranty and out-of-warranty Apple devices. The deployment was successful, all devices were tagged and imaged without issue, and Shenandoah University has continued working with Bell Techlogix since 2009 on additional IT projects.
