Managing The Entire Non-Employee Workforce

World’s Largest Retail Chain, a Fortune 50 organization with upscale discount stores and a large online presence across more than 50 countries, faced a sprawling, decentralized population of contractors, consultants and service workers managed by many inconsistent tools—its existing e‑Procurement system could not manage the full lifecycle of non-employees. The company issued an RFP seeking a user‑friendly, flexible global solution and selected Beeline and its Beeline VMS to centralize contingent labor, compliance, spend and analytics.

Beeline implemented the VMS in the required six‑month timeline, decommissioning legacy tools and integrating complex requirements (cost allocation, invoicing, worker and background‑check downloads, project imports and non‑billable mappings), plus a 2016 APAC expansion for monthly workers. Today Beeline VMS manages thousands of non‑employees across Argentina, Brazil, India, Mexico, Philippines, the United States, Canada and India—evidenced by 4,500 contingent staffing assignments, 720 services procurement projects and 8,100 service workers tracked—delivering increased visibility into temporary staffing and improved collaboration among managers, procurement and suppliers.
