Global Biopharmaceutical Company struggled with a decentralized contingent staffing program—managers engaged hundreds of unvetted suppliers (more than 80 for IT alone), incurred significant rogue spend, and lacked visibility and compliance controls across global operations. To manage its growing non-employee workforce and meet regulatory requirements, the company turned to Beeline and its Vendor Management System (Beeline VMS).
Beeline implemented its VMS in coordination with the client’s MSP, issued RFPs through the system to consolidate and qualify suppliers, enforced rate cards and onboarding checks (background and drug screening), and integrated the VMS with ERP and HR systems (including ~10 SAP integration points and Workday data transfers). The result was a single VMS for the U.S. and Puerto Rico, complete visibility and compliance, elimination of rogue spend, and more than 10% annual savings on contingent labor.
