Two Spice AG, a Zurich-based food service and lifestyle company with 22 restaurants and about 600 employees, struggled to reach frontline staff who had no corporate email—relying on managers and bulletin boards meant slow, uneven communications, little feedback, and weak company-wide identification. To solve this, Two Spice AG adopted Beekeeper’s platform and launched its branded inSPICE to connect non-desk employees.

Beekeeper implemented inSPICE (rolled out from March 2015 via managers and mobile activation), enabling two-way communication, photo sharing, digital employee badges and automated notifications. The results: 70% of employees active on inSPICE, 90% of badges digitized, a 50% increase in contest participation, nearly 300 activations per month, faster and more reliable communications, and measurable improvements in engagement—outcomes credited to Beekeeper.
