RHW Management, which operates 19 hotels with more than 600 employees and nearly 2,000 guest rooms across Marriott, Intercontinental, Hyatt and Hilton properties, faced fragmented, shift-driven communications—hard-bound red books at front desks, bulletin-board notices in the back of house, and limited cross-property messaging. After a Facebook pilot proved insufficient, RHW Management chose Beekeeper’s digital workplace app to centralize mobile-first internal communications and engagement.

Beekeeper was rolled out at the General Manager’s Conference and white-labeled as “The Lobby,” paired with a strict content calendar, analytics monitoring, and usage rules. The platform digitized schedules and shift reports, enabled company-wide surveys and contests, and made corporate announcements searchable and accessible from anywhere. As a result, Beekeeper achieved strong adoption at RHW Management—75% activated users, roughly half of employees access the app daily, and it became the first channel for corporate comms across all 19 hotels—driving higher engagement, faster surveys, and reduced paper processes.
