Cargill, a global food corporation (Cargill Protein - North America) faced a frontline-communication crisis across 40+ locations: more than 28,000 team members speaking 30+ languages, reliance on paper-based processes, limited two-way channels, and urgent COVID-19 communication needs. To bridge these gaps, Cargill partnered with Beekeeper to evaluate and deploy a mobile collaboration platform for its dispersed, non‑wired workforce.

Beekeeper’s mobile app was rolled out to all 40+ Cargill Protein locations in under a year, connecting more than 12,000 previously non‑wired employees; company-wide activation reached 52% with some sites hitting 96% adoption. The Beekeeper implementation reduced paper processes, put schedules and forms at employees’ fingertips, improved leadership engagement (e.g., manager videos, EHS broadcasts), and enabled direct multilingual communication that materially increased operational efficiency and employee engagement.
