Beekeeper Improves Employee Communication for Dentsply Sirona Manufacturing

Dentsply Sirona Endodontics, the North American SBU of the world’s largest dental manufacturer, needed to unify communications among its Tulsa corporate team, Johnson City manufacturing floor and roughly 230 dispersed sales reps. With about 599 employees—many non-desk workers—lacking a consistent way to share customer insights, operational updates and HR information, the team selected Beekeeper’s mobile-first employee communication platform to bridge the gaps.

Beekeeper rolled out its app in November 2016 using a six-week plan, cross-functional power users, launch events, contests and integration with the DS Community intranet, plus digital signage and interactive streams and quizzes to drive use. The Beekeeper implementation connected 599 users (65% accessing via mobile), brought 230+ previously unconnected sales employees online and reached 76% monthly active users, improving frontline collaboration, customer-story sharing and streamlined HR and operational communications.
