James McHugh Construction Company needed to test a new preconstruction workflow and chose Beck Technology’s DESTINI Profiler to put it through its paces. Their estimator, Patrick Brown, initially tackled an aggressive tower project to see whether the tool could produce reliable enclosure quantities and support an overhaul of their estimating process.

Beck Technology worked with McHugh to refine the approach—breaking large projects into segments, creating massings and project‑specific cladding in DESTINI Profiler, and extracting quantities (window walls, balcony insets, slab‑edge covers, guard rails, louvers, columns and roof systems). Using the tool on a 77‑story, 830‑foot tower they produced an enclosure budget and summary of quantity pricing, cross‑checked results with subcontractors, and presented the model in Google Earth for the owner. The project delivered repeatable workflows, improved estimating efficiency, and a path to scale DESTINI Profiler for future 30‑story projects and a growing estimate database.
