Alfred Ritter GmbH & Co. KG, the company behind Ritter Sport chocolate, needed to move roughly 400 administration PCs from Windows XP and Office 2003 to Windows 7 and Office 2013 after Microsoft ended support. To ensure a smooth transition, the company also wanted employee training to improve acceptance, maintain productivity, and reduce help desk calls. Bechtle provided the training services and support for the migration.

Bechtle designed and delivered a company-specific training program including roadshows, classroom courses for Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, and a SharePoint-based portal to manage registrations, questionnaires, and recommendations. Bechtle also supported the rollout with trainers, coaching, group policy implementation help, and a floorwalker for on-desk assistance. The result was faster adoption of Office 2013, better user skills, lower help desk load, and a quick ROI from effective software usage.
