A new IT landscape and Unified Communications for CinemaxX

CinemaxX, the German and Danish multiplex cinema group, needed to replace its organically grown, heterogeneous IT and communications environment with a more reliable, scalable platform. Working with Bechtle, the company set out to improve service quality, reduce maintenance overhead, and connect ticketing and service-centre communications across its cinemas and digital channels.

Bechtle implemented a Cisco-based Unified Communications solution, including Cisco Unified Communications Manager, Cisco Presence Server, Cisco Jabber, Cisco Unity Connection, and Unified Contact Center Express on a high-availability Cisco MCS 7800 platform. The new IP-based system unified communication channels, improved availability of the right staff for customer support, streamlined operations, and lowered operating and maintenance costs while providing a flexible foundation for future expansion.
