Tech 21 partnered with Because Experiential Marketing to support the launch of its protective phone cases and bring the “drop more care less” message to life. The challenge was to overcome consumer fear and build trust by asking shoppers around the world to deliberately drop their phones in a way that felt positive, engaging, and scalable across multiple markets.
Because Experiential Marketing created a global “drop after drop” experiential pop-up in high-footfall shopping centres across the UK, US, and Australia, combining a 90-second VR game, an interactive drop-reaction challenge, social sharing via #DROPMORECARELESS, and discount vouchers to encourage purchase. The campaign successfully launched as a multi-market experiential and social activation, with measurable results to be reported after the November 2017 launch.
