BearingPoint implemented a virtual data platform on Microsoft Azure, leveraging a Data Mesh approach and components like Apache Kafka, Microsoft Cosmos, and Microsoft Synapse. This solution integrated data from multiple sources in real-time, classified it, and made it consumable for self-service analytics via Data Virtuality and PowerBI. As a result, NORD/LB streamlined its reporting processes, reduced manual effort, improved data quality, and empowered its business departments to generate customized reports for better decision-making.
