BearingPoint worked with Henkel, a major consumer and industrial goods group, to address its challenge of disparate and localized transport management processes. Henkel needed a unified system to reduce costs, improve logistics services, and gain better data for optimization across its global operations.

BearingPoint implemented a single transport management software solution, established a central transport management department, and introduced standardized processes. This resulted in a rationalized and coordinated system across 50 countries, with a successful pilot go-live in Spain and Portugal within one year and 200 transport service providers onboarded.
