Fluxys cuts container checks time in half with BearingPoint

Fluxys Belgium, a leading gas infrastructure company, faced challenges in managing its mobile equipment and tools. Using manual processes and legacy systems led to inefficiencies and poor visibility into asset usage, making on-time project completion difficult. To address this, Fluxys partnered with vendor BearingPoint to implement its ETM.next solution, a cloud-based asset management platform.

BearingPoint worked with Fluxys to tailor ETM.next, including co-developing a new Bundle Management feature for handling equipment shipped in containers. The solution provided real-time visibility and control, largely through a mobile app that uses QR code scanning. This cut the time for container checks in half, substantially reduced manual work and errors, and led to enhanced operational efficiency, agility, and better return on investment for Fluxys.
