Finance Ministry of Burkina manages 25+ development projects with BearingPoint's blockchain platform

The Finance Ministry of Burkina Faso, in collaboration with KfW, sought to improve the efficiency, transparency, and traceability of its management of international donor funds, which required heavy and costly administrative procedures. To address this challenge, they partnered with BearingPoint for the implementation of a blockchain-based solution.

BearingPoint helped implement a customized version of the TruBudget platform, rebranded as SIGFE. This solution provided real-time data on project execution, full payment transparency, and accelerated online validation of processes. As a result, the administration reduced its administrative workload and has enrolled over 25 development projects from multiple donors onto the platform, achieving greater efficiency and traceability.
