Emmi targets two-digit million franc savings with BearingPoint

Emmi, Switzerland's largest milk processor, faced challenges with fragmented IT systems and business processes after a period of rapid growth and acquisitions. To achieve a unified solution, Emmi selected the OneERP group-wide system and partnered with BearingPoint for its design and implementation.

BearingPoint utilized its Business Transformation Framework and a mix of prototype and agile methods to implement the solution. This resulted in substantial efficiency gains, improved equipment effectiveness, and a reduction in IT costs. The project was honored with an SAP Quality Award, and Emmi is on track to realize savings in the range of tens of millions of Swiss francs.
