VMware engaged Beamery in 2016 to build on its employer brand and create a more personalized talent experience aimed at converting passive candidates and increasing diversity. Facing the need to streamline talent operations and improve outreach, VMware adopted Beamery’s platform—including Beamery Marketing, CRM and Automation—to support email campaigns, talent communities, events and recruiter enablement.

Beamery implemented automated nurture campaigns, rules-based segmentation and the Recipes automation builder to tag, filter and prioritize candidates, while VMware trained recruiters on targeted email marketing. The partnership delivered measurable impact: ~170k candidate profiles in Beamery, 16k+ talent community members, a 320+ user base, doubled active users year-over-year, an estimated $700k productivity savings, 8.9k resurfaced candidates presented offers/hired and 715 applicants from a new campaign blueprint—demonstrating clear hiring lift from community-driven outreach with Beamery.
