A Beamery Case Study
DraftKings, the Boston-based tech/entertainment company behind sports betting and gaming experiences, needed a better way to unify recruiting efforts across teams and build a global talent community. Before using Beamery, recruiters and sourcers worked in separate workflows, creating silos that led to missed opportunities, including overlooked qualified talent, silver medalists, and future-fit candidates. DraftKings used Beamery alongside Workday ATS to support talent attraction, engagement, and candidate nurturing.
Beamery helped DraftKings implement a three-part strategy for sourcing, nurturing, and targeting candidates with the right message at the right time. The results included 205 Talent Pools with more than 33K new contacts, an average of 500 new talent community opt-ins per month, 3K sourcing campaign messages with a 22% reply rate, 3.3K targeted messages with a 14% click-through rate, and 36K nurture messages with a 12% CTR. Beamery also contributed to 389 total applications and 4 hires from nurture/targeted campaigns, plus 133 applications and 7 hires from sourcing campaigns directly from the talent community.
