A BEAM Case Study
T. Rowe Price, the 80‑year‑old asset management firm known for its Trusty bighorn sheep symbol, needed a more effective way to govern its brand across a distributed workforce of more than 6,000 employees in 16 offices. The company’s internally built brand center was unwieldy and hard to update, making it difficult to ensure associates used the latest Trusty artwork, templates and guidelines. To address this, T. Rowe Price implemented BrandWorks, a centralized brand hub built on the BEAM platform.
Built on BEAM and launched in 2016, BrandWorks delivers a single access point for logos, templates, digital guidelines, educational videos (like “Evolution of a Symbol”) and other brand assets. The BEAM‑powered solution gave the brand team autonomy to publish and iterate content quickly without IT intervention, improved brand governance and adoption across the organization, and now supports the firm’s global workforce with faster updates and more user‑friendly access to essential brand resources.
