Synchrony Financial, spun off from GE Capital, faced the challenge of replacing 80 years of GE brand equity and quickly engaging 13,000 employees around a new identity. To communicate the new purpose and provide accessible resources ahead of launch, Synchrony partnered with BEAM (Monigle’s Brand Engagement and Asset Management platform) to create a centralized employee-facing brand solution.
BEAM delivered the Brand Vault — a BEAM-powered brand site with an asset library, a dynamic PowerPoint wizard and an intuitive CMS — launched on day one and handed over to Synchrony for self‑service. The solution drove strong adoption (85% of employees have used Brand Vault), continues to attract about 300 new first‑time users per month, enables one person to manage brand for 13,000 employees, and measurably improved brand consistency and employee engagement.
