A BCP Software Case Study
Westmorland Ltd, the family-owned motorway services and hospitality group behind Tebay Services, was looking to get more value from its retail EPOS system by lowering hardware and infrastructure costs, improving access to real-time data for better decisions, and reducing maintenance across busy store operations. The company chose BCP Software’s Accord Momentum EPoS solution to support these goals while minimizing risk to day-to-day trading.
BCP Software implemented a mixed EPoS environment at Tebay Northbound, pairing Accord Momentum with low-power Epson hardware so Westmorland Ltd could keep trading during the transition. The rollout delivered the expected benefits: lower-spec tills performed well, hardware costs are set to fall, maintenance demands should be easier to manage, real-time reporting is improving replenishment and profitability, and cloud-based updates can now be deployed faster and cheaper.
