Londis, one of Ireland’s premier symbol groups, faced the challenge of improving warehouse operations and responding faster to changing retailer and consumer demands as part of a €2m modernization program. To support its central warehouse and distribution center in Johnstown, Co. Kildare, Londis worked with BCP Software to replace a manual, paper-based picking process with voice technology.

BCP Software implemented Accord® Voice WMS with RF network and voice terminals, enabling hands-free, real-time picking instructions and better visibility across warehouse activity. The result was improved picking accuracy, fewer mispicks, lower breakages, and over 50% fewer claims, while warehouse running costs fell by approximately €300,000 per year.
