Southway Housing Trust, a not-for-profit provider of affordable housing, was facing a major business risk due to its aging on-premises infrastructure that was nearing the end of vendor support. Their challenge was to modernize their IT environment and find a provider who could successfully migrate their vital core application, Open Housing, to the cloud within a tight timeframe.

BCN Group designed and managed a full migration to Microsoft Azure, creating a bespoke infrastructure that included the only known instance of the Open Housing application running on Azure. The solution delivered immense cost savings, reducing infrastructure spending by £200,000 over five years. BCN's implementation also boosted productivity, saving an estimated 8,000 hours annually, and drastically improved disaster recovery with a recovery time objective of less than one hour.
