Mersey Care NHS Foundation Trust faced the challenge of developing an enhanced 'Capacity and Demand Tracker' to identify key indicators for a daily senior management briefing. They needed a user-friendly solution to quickly pinpoint system pressures before they exceeded capacity. BCN Group was engaged to address this using Microsoft Power BI.

BCN Group developed a bespoke Power BI dashboard and automated a daily briefing report for senior managers. The solution enables all 20 Trusts in the region to drill down into data, identify hotspots, and take preemptive action across a wide range of care indicators. This has significantly improved decision-making and communication, guiding the Trusts to keep services running smoothly, especially during the operational pressures of COVID-19.
