Textron uses TripSource to boost in-program airport parking by more than 90%

Textron, a large global company, wanted to improve employee awareness and use of its travel benefits and guidelines. Its travel policy lived on a multi-page intranet document, but employees were not reading it, so they were missing out on savings and guidance. To reach travelers more effectively, Textron worked with BCD Travel and began using the TripSource mobile app.

BCD Travel helped Textron use TripSource’s corporate messaging feature to send timely, targeted notifications to travelers, including reminders about preferred airport parking discounts from Park ’N Fly and The Parking Spot. The campaign drove more than a 90% increase in parking with preferred vendors and more than doubled parking-related savings over one year. The success also opened the door for Textron to use BCD Travel and TripSource for duty of care, disruption alerts, and broader travel policy communication.
