Kellogg’s worked with BCD Travel to improve its business travel program and capture savings across the full trip cycle. The company wanted to rein in travel costs while improving the traveler experience and compliance.

BCD Travel implemented an end-to-end travel and expense approach, with agents supporting travelers from pre-booking through final reimbursement and giving upfront guidance on what would not be reimbursed. The results included a 13% drop in net cost per trip mile, an 11% reduction in average hotel room rate, a 26% increase in hotels booked in program, a 68% increase in 21-day advance U.S. domestic air bookings, a 30% increase in 21-day advance international air bookings, and a 10% increase in online bookings.
