Polytex Environmental Inks Finds Holistic Process Solution with BatchMaster Manufacturing (BMM) and SAP Business One

Polytex Environmental Inks, ltd., a long-standing industrial coatings manufacturer with R&D and production sites in the U.S. and the Netherlands, needed a single system to connect lab/product development, production management and distribution. Existing software only handled finance and distribution, so Polytex selected BatchMaster Software’s BatchMaster Manufacturing (BMM) integrated with SAP Business One to meet its process-manufacturing and formula-development needs.

BatchMaster Software implemented BMM within SAP Business One, adding lot tracking, formula development, and product costing directly into the ERP to create a seamless flow from R&D to the factory and distribution. The solution supported Polytex’s frequent one-off reformulations, produced uniform, professional documents and reporting, reduced implementation complexity and cost versus alternatives, and enabled quicker turnaround and greater responsiveness to customer requests.
