House-Autry Mills Upgrades Their Batchmaster ERP for Food

House-Autry, a long-established flour mill and manufacturer of breaders, spice blends and sauces, was outgrowing paper- and spreadsheet-based processes as its foodservice and retail businesses expanded and it added new product lines and acquisitions. To replace their legacy BatchMaster Enterprise implementation that ran with Microsoft Dynamics GP, House-Autry selected BatchMaster ERP with SAP Business One from BatchMaster Software to support greater scale and a more integrated ERP solution.

BatchMaster Software implemented industry-specific manufacturing modules built natively within SAP Business One, providing a single database and interface that mapped to House-Autry’s production, warehouse, quality assurance and accounting workflows. The consolidated system improved user experience and staff transition, and delivered increased efficiency and functionality — reducing processing and data-entry time, cutting duplication and paper, lowering costs, and improving data reliability and reporting, outcomes the company’s CFO expected on rollout.
