Coatings Manufacturer Hallman Lindsay Brushes Away 65 Years of Inactive Data

Hallman Lindsay, a Wisconsin‑based paints and coatings manufacturer with roots back to 1956, needed to replace an aging Sage PFW system and clean up decades of legacy data. Facing roughly 4,700 formulas (many inactive), mismatched POS inventory codes, and no prior use of accounting/inventory functions or batch tracking, they selected BatchMaster Software for its familiar Sage‑like modules and industry references.

BatchMaster Software implemented its process manufacturing solution, helped import and begin cleansing some 65 years of inactive data and thousands of formulas, provided targeted training, and enabled BOM‑based inventory, QC logging and batch history tracking. The rollout was delivered on budget and nearly on time, and Hallman Lindsay now gains real‑time visibility into committed and on‑order inventory, improved inventory accuracy and traceability, and a foundation for POS integration and per‑store warehouse control.
