To address high user churn and low opt-in rates, RND turned to the vendor Batch and leveraged its customer engagement platform for cross-channel messaging and automated workflows.
Batch's solution involved implementing a multi-channel strategy using email, mobile push, and web push notifications. RND used Batch's automations to create a personalized 15-day onboarding sequence for new app users and employed win-back campaigns to re-engage readers who had opted out. The results were significant, with click-through rates exceeding 35% for email, over 10% for mobile push, and a 14.9% CTR on a key Day-1 onboarding campaign, successfully helping RND activate and retain its audience.
