Transitioning to the cloud in just 4 weeks

ISS Sweden, a global facilities management company and long‑term Basware customer, needed to move quickly from an on‑premise procure‑to‑pay system to the Basware cloud in early 2020. The upgrade had to boost productivity and reporting, integrate with Oracle ERP, workforce management and BI systems, and be completed despite COVID‑19 social distancing constraints.

Working with Basware consultants using an agile, remote implementation and daily briefings, ISS went live with Basware P2P in four weeks. The cloud solution delivered greater automation, mobile approvals and improved spend visibility, cut server and upgrade costs, streamlined invoice handling and reporting, and yielded estimated savings of about eight hours per day and two full‑time equivalents in the finance team.
