Bilderberg is a bespoke Dutch hotel group operating 18 properties that together receive about 40,000 supplier invoices a year. Historically each hotel handled ordering and manually entered invoices into SAP, with about 40 finance FTEs and poor spend visibility—making consistent coding, centralized purchasing oversight, and efficiency improvements very difficult.

Bilderberg chose Basware P2P and Basware Network (with implementation support from iCreative) to centralize invoice intake, enable suppliers to send e-invoices, and automate line-item coding and workflow routing while keeping approvals local. The change cut invoice-processing FTEs from 40 to 3, increased e-invoicing to 80%, delivered 100% spend visibility, improved invoice tracking, and produced significant cost and efficiency gains.
