100% visibility, automation and unification with Basware P2P

INSEAD, a leading global business school with campuses in France, Singapore, Abu Dhabi and San Francisco, faced fragmented, country-level procurement and limited spend visibility. To standardize processes, improve auditability and integrate with its Oracle EBS ERP, the school set a goal of rolling out a single end-to-end P2P workflow across all departments.

Working with Basware and implementation partner Fluxym, INSEAD deployed Basware P2P, Analytics, Marketplace and e‑Invoicing to centralize procurement, introduce supplier portals and enforce approval and “no PO no pay” controls. The transformation delivered full spend visibility and improved forecasting, 100% department adoption, ~75% of spend under PO, category-wide coverage, and rapid increases in system coverage and e‑invoicing (from 12% to ~70% coverage and 0% to 20% e‑invoices as of March 2021), plus sourcing savings and stronger audit trail.
