Bokbasen, Norway’s centralized book data and digital publishing services provider, needed to launch new products like Digitalelev and Allvit with a very small IT team. To support this challenge, Basefarm helped them build a modern AWS-based, container-driven microservice platform and DevOps approach that would let the team deliver updates faster and more reliably.

Basefarm implemented Infrastructure as Code and CI/CD pipelines using AWS services such as CodePipeline, CodeBuild, CodeDeploy, ECR, Systems Manager Parameter Store, CloudWatch, CloudTrail, plus Terraform, Spring Cloud Config, Flyway, and RunScope. The result was a self-service deployment model across test, stage, and production with rolling releases, cross-account deployments, and stronger separation of duties, enabling Bokbasen to ship new functionality more quickly and with greater reliability.
