Basefarm Brings Continuous Compliance Solutions to Bokbasen

Bokbasen, a Norwegian provider of services to the publishing and education sectors, needed a way to continuously manage security and compliance across its AWS-based applications without slowing development. Basefarm implemented a continuous compliance solution using AWS Security Hub, AWS Inspector, AWS Config, AWS CloudTrail, Amazon CloudWatch, Amazon GuardDuty, and custom AWS Lambda filtering integrated with Basefarm’s ITSM process. This gave Bokbasen a single view of security posture, automated alerting and ticketing, and faster handling of incidents and audits; AWS Security Hub with CIS standards helped maintain baseline hygiene, while the custom filtering reduced unnecessary noise from Inspector findings and improved operational efficiency.
