Case Study: Winson Group achieves seamless, standardized label automation with BarTender

A BarTender Case Study

Preview of the Winson Group Case Study

BarTender and Microsoft Dynamics Business Central create agile labeling system, enable rapid change management

Winson Group, a mid‑sized Australian business (Signet and insignia) with about 300 employees and facilities across the country, faced complex, high-volume labeling needs across manufacturing, warehousing and dispatch — including 3,000–5,000 dispatch labels daily, item/pallet identification, repacking and bin‑code labelling. To meet these challenges they deployed BarTender software, integrating labeling with their Microsoft Dynamics Business Central ERP and supporting a variety of printers and automated print‑and‑apply systems.

BarTender’s Integration Platform, Drivers by Seagull and Librarian were used to centralize templates, accept XML/JSON/Web Service calls from Dynamics and provide cross‑printer compatibility and web access via Print Portal/Print Station. The BarTender solution automated and standardized labeling across all sites, enabled secure, operator‑level printing and sharing of labels via OneDrive/SharePoint, handled their daily high‑volume dispatch needs with minimal downtime, and gave Winson Group faster deployments and a future‑proof labeling platform.
