LoganAir, Scotland’s airline, needed a faster, more reliable way to understand and improve on-time performance across a complex network affected by weather, crew, airport, and island-tide constraints. Working with Barrachd, and using IBM Cognos Express, the airline aimed to turn large volumes of operational data into clear, timely information for teams across the business.

Barrachd implemented an integrated analytics and planning solution combining Cognos BI and Cognos TM1 to deliver interactive daily dashboards, drillable reports, and ad hoc analysis. The result was automated reporting, a “single version of the truth,” faster decision-making, and the ability to segment performance by waves, routes, and destinations to better target resources and reduce delays and cancellations.
