Azteca Foods Automates the Ability to Track and Trace Pallets

Azteca Foods, a family-owned Mexican foods manufacturer, sought to improve warehouse efficiency by tracking pallets and eliminating manual data entry processes. They partnered with vendor Barcoding for a solution to assign unique identification numbers to each pallet and gain full traceability.

Barcoding implemented a customized barcode scanning system using handheld computers, mobile software, and network extenders. This solution provided Azteca with complete pallet traceability, eliminated manual data entry errors, and allowed for instant shift reporting. As a result, Azteca significantly increased its operational accuracy and efficiency, an achievement that earned them Barcoding's "Innovator of the Year" award.
