Case Study: Mr.Beam Studio delivers a powerful WWII tribute with Barco UDX-4K40 projectors

Wonderful audio-visual tribute for the end of WWII in Wageningen

The customer, Mr.Beam Studio, a creative agency, was challenged to create a poignant audio-visual tribute for the 75th anniversary of the end of WWII in Wageningen after the live event was threatened by Covid-19 restrictions. They needed an extremely reliable projection solution that could be set up quickly and deliver a high-impact experience for a nationwide broadcast. They turned to vendor Barco for this critical project.

Barco provided two UDX-4K40 laser projectors, chosen for their reliability, bright 4K-UHD image quality, and ease of transport and installation. The Barco solution enabled Mr.Beam Studio to successfully project a hauntingly beautiful mapping onto Hotel De Wereld. The tribute was broadcast live on television and online, allowing the entire Netherlands to share in the commemorative experience and achieving the goal of uniting people during a time of social distancing.
